Tares are grassy weeds resembling wheat.
Tares are stumbling blocks.
Tares are acts of lawlessness.
Tares are wicked ones who are passionate about sinning.
You may be a tare if you think it is fun to lead others down a pathway of sin or cause others to commit ungodly acts. Tares like cowards lurk in the background and often love the power of controlling other and making them do evil things. Are you someone who takes advantage of and abuses the weak? Are you someone who enjoys criminal mischief? Do you believe you were created for evil? Do you enjoy thinking of ways to con and deceive others? Are you a wolf camouflaged as a lamb? Are you pretending to be something that you are not in order to feed your own selfish greed? Are you hoping to gain an advantage in the pool of sin? Do you take pleasure in fooling others or torturing others in your den of iniquity? Do you enjoy pulling pranks on others and making them look foolish? When others miss the mark, sin, and commit ungodly acts do you speak to them with grace, or do you become prideful and speak to them in a condescending manner? Are you saying and doing things that lead people to God and Jesus or are you forcing people to fear you through bullying and threats? Just a reminder: At the end of ages, Tare will be bound and thrown into the eternal furnace of fire. Tares may abide with the wheat for a season but then they will be gathered out of the field where they were previously growing and forced to suffer eternal damnation.
Matthew 13:25-40
Proverbs 13:22 KJV
A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
Psalm 37:1,2 KJV
Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
2 Peter 3:17 KJV
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
2 Thessalonians 3: 1-3 KJV
1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: 2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
